The Lewisham Wellbeing Map was established in early 2018 by Tim Bradley, as a way of mapping local and borough wide health and social services in the Lewisham Borough in order to provide easier access for individuals, but also to reduce the pressure on GP’s and Link-workers that are focusing on social prescribing.
The map is now being developed alongside Lewisham Council and the Bellingham Community Project, and has secured funding in order to expand and continue developing the map for use by the general public and Health and Social workers. So far the map has over 1000 services added, and provides a comprehensive view of both borough wide services but also more granular and local services for those that need them.
We are hoping that by providing this map, we can reduce pressure on frontline services by opening up easy access to social prescribing and signposting these services.
